projects

Selected research, teaching, design, and architecture work.

Project list

  1. Co-design toolkit materials arranged on a table.

    Doctoral research

Doctoral research on future domestic spaces in historic neighbourhoods, focusing on how domestic technologies and spaces reshape one another.

The dissertation draws on observations, resident interviews, interpretive methods with heritage buildings, architect interviews, focus groups, and speculative co-designs to develop intermediate-level design knowledge for future Human-Building Interaction.

  2. Map of Turkey with a marked area.

    Disaster resilience and recovery

Research on residents' expectations and designers' perspectives toward post-earthquake permanent housing in Antakya.

This work included interviews with earthquake-affected residents and focus groups with architects and interaction designers. Findings informed peer-reviewed publications on post-disaster housing, media architecture, resilience, and recovery.
